Life takes you to unexpected places and it's important to know that you may not have full control, but at least you are ready to seize the opportunities that emerge.

​

My career has spanned many industries including healthcare, automotive, technology, and advertising. The focus has been on learning, training, and organizational development. My passion has always been about improving others through education and opportunity.

​

I've been a student of the martial arts and have a 2nd Dan in Kendo as well as being an instructor in Krav Maga.

​

Somewhere along the way, I took a fancy to board games and have found them an endless source of fascination. These pieces of cardboard and plastic somehow manage to incite a range of emotions in those that play; simply amazing.

​

I was born in Odesa, Ukraine, and immigrated to Canada with my family. I'm a consummate student of history and have a degree in Classical Civilizations from Carleton University and a degree in History from York University. Along the way, I picked up a diploma in Filmmaking from the London Film School and studied New Media Design at the Canadian Film Centre. To top it all off, I have a Master of Learning Technology from the University of British Columbia.

I live in Richmond Hill, Ontario with my darling partner Victoria and our three amazing children (oldest to youngest): Nathaniel, Renee, and Kate.
